The Energized Boomerangs were standard-issue Hero Factory weapons previously used by Rookie Hero Natalie Breez.

Harpoons[]

The Harpoons were alternate weapons possessed by Natalie Breez, which held her Energized Boomerangs in place. They could be used to launch projectiles or for melee combat.

History[]

During a battle in New Stellac City, Von Nebula created a black hole with his Black Hole Orb Staff that sucked up the Heroe's weapons, including the Energized Boomerangs and Harpoons, though Breez eventually got them back.

After the Alpha 1 Team was defeated at Tanker Station 22, and the Heroes were rebuilt, Breez traded her weapons for Multi-Tool Blades.

Functionality[]

The Energized Boomerangs had the ability to be flung through the air or a vacuum by a Hero. They home in on the nearest target with tracking sensors, and can cut with a molecule-thick blade edge. If a boomerang is lost, the blade immediately dulls and shuts off the built-in circuitry, rendering it useless.

Example Usage[]

In The Enemy Within, Natalie Breez threw her Energized Boomerangs at the attacking guard robots to try and disable them.

Set Information[]

The Energized Boomerangs were included in the Natalie Breez Hero Factory set from 2010. They were made of a hard green rubber and attached to her Harpoons as a conjoined solid piece each, comprising two of the set's 19 pieces.

Energized boomerangs, as used by Rookie Hero Natalie Breez, are standard-issue gadgets based on the Flying Neutron Grade (FLYNG) class of Hero armaments. Powered by encapsulated xenium, they have the ability to be flung through air or vacuum by the great strength of a Hero. Tracking sensors home in on the nearest target, and the molecule-thick blade edge can cut through anything short of neutronium. Once it has sliced its target, onboard thrusters propel the boomerang back to the waiting Hero for immediate re-use or re-energization.

If a boomerang is lost, safety measures kick in, dulling the blade and shutting off the built-in circuitry. The Energized boomerangs are extremely effective in the hands of an expert, and villains have been known to surrender at the mere sight of a boomerang’s glow.
