The Fire Villains are a gang of power-hungry criminals united by their fiery theme and enhanced abilities. Each member can weaponize fire, using deadly techniques fuelled by augmentations. These augmentations consist of outlets in their fingers that allow them to absorb fuel and convert it into energy, granting them increased speed, strength, and durability. However, this power comes at a significant cost: a potent and unrelenting addiction to fuel.

History[]

Tallos 5[]

All of the Fire Villains were originally mining robots stationed on the mining planet of Tallos 5. Designed for efficiency and excavation purposes. Seeking to improve operational efficiency, Hero Factory scientists introduced specialized outlets integrated into many of the local bot's fingers. These outlets allowed the mining bots to absorb raw fuel directly, bypassing the need for frequent recharges and enabling near-continuous operation. However, there were unforeseen consequences. While the upgrades achieved their intended purpose, prolonged exposure to this energy-conversion process caused adverse effects. Over time, several mining bots developed a dependency on the fuel, which began to manifest as an uncontrollable craving. Among those affected were the future Fire Villains: Fire Lord, Drilldozer, Nitroblast, and Jetbug. The four became consumed by their addiction, prioritizing their next fuel source over their assigned duties. The four banded together, forming a gang under the leadership of Fire Lord, with their new mission: to satisfy their insatiable hunger for fuel at any cost. This descent into villainy led to a violent departure from Tallos 5, where they abandoned their original mining duties in a blaze of destruction. Their collateral-laden exit marked the beginning of their reign of terror.

During one of their early raids, the Fire Villains targeted a supply station that housed a fleet of operational fuel supply ships used to transport large quantities of fuel across interstellar distances. During the heist, the villains commandeered one of these shuttles capable of carrying vast amounts of fuel. However, before escaping, they extensively modified the vessel with the integration of a powerful bright-red radioactive laser weapon into the ship’s structure. It’s unclear whether the laser was custom-built by the villains themselves or repurposed from mining or demolition equipment. Regardless, the laser became a fearsome weapon, capable of obliterating obstacles and spreading devastation. This modified fuel ship became the Fire Villains' primary mode of transport.

Fire Lord later led his Hench-bots to Tanker Station 22, where they attacked and began to steal and smuggle the station's fuel supply via their form of transport the previously stolen Fuel Supply Ship with modified to have a massive laser, laying detruction and chaos to the station below. The Alpha 1 Team was sent to defend and combat the villains while saving as many workers as they could. After an unfair advantage in the hands of the Fire Villains, they easily outgunned the Heroes, leading them to retreat and capturing rookie Mark Surge in the process. The Heroes fled, keeping the workers but leaving the station in the clutches of the Fire Villains, who took over the station and set it up as their temporary base of operations.

Later, after the Heroes got Upgraded to the new 2.0 Form, they returned to the station and battled the Fire Villains. After a short confrontation between Fire Lord and Alpha Leader Preston Stormer, the battle escalates into a three-on-five, with the Heroes being assisted by new rookies Julius Nex and Nathan Evo. Fire Lord's hench bots Drilldozer and Nitroblast were defeated and handcuffed, and then Jetbug was ejected from the villain's transport after being hijacked by Mark Surge. The ship crashes into Fire Lord and severs his hand while he's absorbing a tremendous amount of energy from the station's largest fuel depot during the final battle of the station. Upon their leader's defeats, the Fire Villains were sent to the Hero Factory to be cleaned of fuel addiction.

Breakout[]

Many years later, before being fully cleansed of their addiction, a mass Breakout occurred inside the Villain Storage Facility. thanks to the combined efforts of Black Phantom and Voltix using Von Nebula's Black hole staff, allowing all detainees to escape the facility. As Drilldozer and Nitroblast make their escape, brushing past heroes Surge and Furno, Fire Lord and Jetbug granted fellow villain Splitface areal support while dealing with hero Jimi Stringer before they too make their getaway. Since then, all members of the Fire Villains have been recaptured as mentioned in Secret Mission 4: Robot Rampage.
