The Plasma Gun, also known as Plasma Shooter, and, P-42, is a weapon mainly used by Heroes. Though some Villains like Core Hunter have adapted the weapon for their criminal needs.
Description[]
The Furno Bike had two of these weapons on each side, and each Hero was also given modified plasma guns during after the mass Breakout.

Think of the Plasma Shooter as something like lightning in a can. Although it cannot create quite the same temperatures and electron density as ligthning, the Plasma shooter is a semi-natural force to be reckoned with. It's designed with current sheets that artificially enhance resistivity. This increases the concentration of energy in the plasma, causing some faaaabulous fireworks! (Read: excellent explosions and mad radiation bursts.) So, all in all - geeky gadget + causes a sparkling show = perfect for Nex.
