The Queen Beast is a Beast that appeared during the Invasion From Below. She is the leader and mother of her species (well known as four legged alien Jumpers).

History[]

The Queen Beast occupies the Crystal Caves where she attends to her eggs in a giant nest supported by a stone pillar formation and strong vines connected to areas around the nest, when the remaining heroes arrive they discover captured workers, civilians and their captured comrades inside the eggs on the nest using thermal imagery, it is unknown how any of the characters ended up inside of these eggs after being captured. The other heroes are angered by this and shots are fired at the nest, which knocks eggs off into the acid below and enrages the Queen Beast. Natalie Breez tells them to stop however, claiming that she can communicate with the Queen Beast, to their annoyance, the other heroes subside and throw away their blasters. The Queen Beast roars at Breez when she approaches but eventually calms down. Breez then begins communicating with the Queen Beast, negotiating the release of everyone captured and the withdrawal of all beasts from Antropolis City and in return the residents of Antropolis will leave them alone and seal the tunnel. The deal is reached and the Queen Beast begins delivering the other heroes’ eggs to the heroes and all seems well. Unfortunately, a Jumper accidentally steps on one of the blasters that was thrown aside, which in turn fires at the nest, breaking one of the vines and sending several eggs off of the nest into the acid. This enrages the Queen Beast yet again and she begins trying to attack the heroes by blasting them with blobs of good from her mouth. She grabbed Bulk, but Stormer used a Canister to hit the queen, making her hit the column, which shook the whole cavern. She flew off the column , but a rock spike hit her on the back. She grabbed Bulk again while falling down to a pit, where the acid was being flushed by the shaking cavern. Bulk got out of the pit alive. It is unknown what happened to the queen and her kind, either they got killed, got captured, or trapped in their own underground lair, as the Heroes had the people of Antropolis closed up the tunnel to the lake to avoid waking up the Jumpers again.

The Queen Beast is a giant beast with four legs and big arms. She has 12 eyes, a massive torso, a cocoon on her lower back and two skeletal wings. She uses green blasts of energy from her mouth to hit targets from afar and a large Grapple Staff, it can be used to grab objects or people.
