Thunder is one of Von Nebula's villainous and is one of his most destructive servants while forming as a minor antagonist in Rise of the Rookies.
Biography
Career
Thunder has long been notorious for his involvement in high-profile crimes across multiple systems. A dangerous and aggressive figure, he made a name for himself through a series of thefts, acts of extortion, and large-scale destruction. His most infamous crime prior to joining Von Nebula’s gang was the total annihilation of a trade fleet, an act that resulted in several intergalactic warrants for his arrest. This reputation as a destructive force led to his recruitment by Von Nebula, who saw great potential in Thunder’s brute strength and lack of hesitation when it came to causing chaos.
Rise of the Rookies
Deltari
Under Von Nebula’s leadership, Thunder took part in a high-stakes raid on the Deltari Quadrant. The mission was a resounding success, with the group of villains securing an entire stockpile of valuable palomino diamonds. The purpose of these diamonds remains a mystery, but they were likely intended for either financing future operations or powering some unknown weapon or technology.
New Stellac City

Thunder in New Stellac City
Following the Deltari heist, Thunder and fellow Villain member Corroder were deployed to New Stellac City in meteorite-like drop pods to engage the Alpha 1 Team. The Hero Factory had dispatched Dunkan Bulk, Jimi Stringer, and their leader, Preston Stormer, in response to reports of a disturbance. Upon landing, Thunder wasted no time in making his presence known. When Bulk recognized him from a past encounter, Thunder arrogantly introduces himself before immediately opening fire alongside Corroder. The battle quickly escalated, forcing the heroes into a temporary retreat. The fight continued with Thunder and Corroder positioning themselves atop the stairs leading to the City's Drone Monument, where they maintained the upper hand for a time, before eventually facing the Heroes and unveiling his powerful Nebula Gas Cannon, a weapon granted to him by Von Nebula himself. With a breif introduction, Thunder aims the weapon at Stringer and Bulk and fires only for Stormer the intercept the blast. Though the weapon's energy should have been lethal, Stormer managed to survive, thanks to newly upgraded armor provided by Quadal.

Thunder realises he's ran out of ammo
As the fight raged on, reinforcements arrived in the form of rookie Heroes William Furno, Natalie Breez, and Mark Surge. Breez, having detected heightened readings of Nebula Gas on the battlefield, soon found herself face-to-face with Thunder, who confirms her suspicions by aiming the Gas Cannon directly at her. Initially, the heroes hold a numerical advantage, but Thunder quickly turned the tables by taunting them just as two more villain pods arrive, carrying XPlode and Meltdown. The villains, now a team of four, launch a barrage of attacks at the Heroes, forcing them to retreat. Eventually, The tide turns further when Von Nebula’s Black Hole appeared, sucking up all the Heroes’ weapons and leaving them defenceless. The villains relished their advantage and began to play a twisted game of “Moving Target” with the Heroes. Despite the odds, the Heroes managed to regroup. Once the villains ran out of ammunition, the Heroes launched a surprise attack, stunning Thunder, along with Meltdown, Corroder, and XPlode before Stringer and bulk use a large strap of metal from the Drone Monument to trap the villains. After Von Nebula's defeat, Thunder was stripped of his weapons, and the entire group was taken into custody and imprisoned at the Villain Storage Facility.
Breakout

Thunder escaping during the Breakout
Years later, Thunder was among the many villains who escaped from the Villain Storage Facility during the mass breakout orchestrated by
t Voltix and Black created using Von Nebula's Black Hole Orb Staff. After briefly brushing past hero's Daniel Rocka and Furno, waving his arms in the air in freedom as he does so, Thunder makes his getaway through the black Hole tornado Portal. Sice then, it is confirmed that he has since then been recaptured as mentioned in Face Off: Makuro's Secret Guidebook.
Personality and Traits
Thunder is a hulking brute of immense strength, feared for his sheer physical dominance. Though commonly underestimated due to his limited intellect, he is far from useless—his raw power and resilience make him one of Von Nebula’s most dangerous assets. His thick Russian accent masks a sadistic enjoyment of terrorizing opponents, relishing in the fear he instills just by being present. His intelligence, or lack thereof, often leads to slow decision-making, sometimes struggling with the simplest calculations or concepts. However, what he lacks in wits, he more than compensates for with sheer determination and combat prowess. Heroes who assume him to be he hunched Tnothing but a dim-witted brute oftenaleaurn—too late—that underestbulkyTmemberss a fatal mistake.
L.oHe hasto Von Nebula, Thunder serves as his personal enforcer, taking on tasks that require brute force rather than strategy. His resilience allows him to take heavy damage and keep fighting, making him an unstoppable force in battle. Though not a planner, he follows orders with unwavering dedication, ensuring that when Von Nebula needs someone crushed, Thunder is the one to, get it done.
Appearance
Thunder dawns rusty silver and black armor and is one of the more tank-ish villains in Von Nebula's gang with a large pronounced square jaw and bright r, marking every inch of the brute as dangeroused eyes while riddled with aged/withered caution-construction stickers all over his chest and forearms while sharing the same feet of that of Drilldozer, another brute-ish villain.
Weapons
Thunder is armed with a Crush Claw in place of his right hand, however in the TV Episode this weapon is fused with his Nebula Gas Cannon while also using a Meteor Blaster . it has been showcased before that Thunder himself is also a weapon, able to sometimes twist his body into a ball to bowl over his adversaries.
