Toxic Reapa is a deadly and poisonous Villain hailing from the planet Z'chaya and was a former member of the Legion of Darkness.

Biography

Early Career

Sigma Pi III

Back in Z'chaya, Toxic Reapa had become well known both for his gradual descent into insanity and his notorious criminal activities to show for it, often being hired by gang leaders across the planet for vandalization purposes. Eventually, due to increasing arrest warrants and declining popularity, Reap fled Zychaya to continue making a living from his criminal career. At one point, Reapa, along with his new accomplice, Jawblade attempted to raid and steal precious metals from a museum on Sigma Pi III, however, the Hero Factory was notified of their actions and sent in Heroes Dunkan Bulk and Jimi Stringer. As Jawblade evaded capture by escaping through a pipe connected to the planet's river, Toxic Reap was left to get apprehended and, upon arrest, was sent to be held at Asteroid J-54, where he would meet Voltix, which, up until that point, had been the only largest prison in the entire sector.

Legion of Darkness

After a few weeks of Imprisonment, Toxic Reapa and Voltix escaped from captivity thanks to the efforts of the Notorious Villian Black Phantom along with XT4 and, were later enlisted into the Legion of Darkness. A few days later, in the back room of a refueling station that Toxic Reapa, along with the other members of the Legion of Darkness and an assembled army of criminals that were broken free from Asteroid J-54 had raided, celebrated the recently announced closing of the Hero Factory itself. Black Phantom announces his plans to move the organization into the now-vacant factory and establish it as their new headquarters.

When the Legion of Darkness were met by Stormer; Toxic Reapa along with Speeda Demon, Voltix, and Thornraxx (on the another scout ship) were then ordered by Black Phantom to secure the Assembly Tower. Short afterwards, Toxic Reapa became annoyed by Thornraxx's "complaints" and threw him out of the scout ship which at the same moment, they encountered Thresher. They quickly crashed their badly damaged ship (due to slamming into a partly closed launch bay door) which exploded after Voltix hurled two bolts of electricity at Thresher and a conveyor belt (that the hero landed on).

After a short fight, he and the others captured Thresher with a crane's claw and were amusing themselves by slowly lowing the hero towards a disassembly machine until Black Phantom suddenly appeared, saw what was going on, and tried to rush them into dropping Thresher into the machine. Before the four villains could drop Thresher; they were interrupted by Bulk and the other members of Alpha 1 Team After Stormer played a recording of Black Phantom's statement. He, Speeda Demon and Voltix took down Black Phantom for betraying them and were then captured by the heroes and sent (along with Jawblade, Splitface, and Thornraxx) to Asteroid J-54. Some time later, Toxic Reapa and the other villains (excluding Voltix and Black Phantom) were transferred to the Villain Storage Facility.

Breakout

After many years of imprisonment in the Villain Storage Facility, Voltix, Reapa's former member of the Legion of Darkness, is escorted into the compound and his cell. As his cells ascends into the wall, he releases a cloud resembling Von Nebula. This cloud travels toward the Black Hole Staff in the facility, shattering it and triggering a mass breakout that allows every villain to escape. As he leaves his cell, Voltix encounters hero William Furno, whom he attacks with his head-mounted acid blasters. Furno skillfully dodges the villain's assault before landing a punch that sends Voltix sprawling backward. However, Voltix thanks the hero for the "boost" before fleeing through a portal created by the Black Hole, successfully escaping the facility.

Upon his Escape, Toxic Reapa returned to his home planet of Z'chaya, where he planned to unleash a dormant cocoon of thousands of premature-born members of Toxic Reapa's deadly species, which he will use to create his home-made genetic army. Shortly after the Breakout, Nathan Evo is dispatched from the Hero Factory to track down and capture Reapa. Upon the hero discovering and preparing to dispose of the cocoon, Reapa Reveals himself, proclaiming his destructive capabilities before fleeing into the jungle-like terrain at the sight of Evo throwing his Hero Cuffs at the villain. As Evo begins the hunt, Reapa assures the hero that he will fail within his home turf before landing a few hits on the hero with a handheld Acidic Lazar Cutter from the shadows. While Evo continues to search for the villain, passing through thousands more premature eggs, Reapa Reveals himself, mocking the hero's incompetence before firing another shot from his laser at the rookie, which de-arms him of his Plasma Gun. As the sociopath laughs away, he makes sure the hero knows that he will succeed in his mission and will unleash his baby army before jumping and fleeing back into the jungle trees. When Evo fires at the fleeing villain, he disappears before remerging and landing multiple hits on the hero in the torso, which immobilizes him and sends him crashing into a rock before the villain approaches the hero and backhands him out of his way before rushing to his Caccoon to release his hatchlings.

Toxic Reapa's defeat

Upon Evo's recovery, he fires at the villain, who returns fire, gluing the hero's tank arm onto the rock. While Reapa ascends the cocoon's branch, Evo blasts the acidic substance on the rock aside as a jump pad, which he uses to send himself flying towards and kicking the villain to the ground before throwing his Hero Cuffs at the villain and successfully cuffing him before stripping him of his weapon and returning him to the Hero factory along with the rest of the Alpha 1 team. he is now in custody.

Personality and Traits

AS Brutish and Stocky as he may be, Reapa has a tendency to emit ruthless mood swings and convey and uncontrollable presence amongst his victims and fellow villains while still having enough sense to cooperate. While on Z'chaya, Reapa proclaims his dominance to his nativity, especially with his encounter with Evo .

Like the natives in Z'chaya, Toxic Reapa has an affection for using toxic wastes, with his body specifically built to withstand the harsh environment of his home world, which he also utilizes for his weapons to destroy anything or bring death to anyone. It is also known that Toxic Reapa hates being near water, as he briefly mentions to Jawblade.

Appearance

Toxic Reapa is a smaller yet bulkier villain who shares Corroder's color scheme Corroder of lime green and rusty black armor, accented with additional neon yellow-green highlights. He has striking lime green eyes, sharp teeth, and large black shoulder armor. His feet are black and have two toes, resembling those of both Corroder and Meltdown.

Weapons

Toxic Reapa is equipped with two toxic waste tanks on his back that supply his toxic Lazar Cutter which he can either dual-wield or single-wielded. He also possesses smaller variations of these cannons on the sides of his head when he loses access to his primary weapons which are deadly in close-quarter combat are his main weapons. The laser cutters on his head are used for slicing and cutting up fortified structures and are often combined with his main weapons.

6201 Toxic Reapa was released as one of the 7 small-bagged villain sets during the first wave of Breakout in January, 2012. His set number contains 42 pieces including exclusive Green-yellow dual colour fire particle that are to be places in his Lazar Cutters in place of his hands. The Toxic Reapa set can be combined with 6200 Evo set to create a larger combine model based on building instructions which is available from HeroFactory.com.

• Toxic Reapa was voiced by Nick Jameson in the Breakout TV Movie.
• He is one out of four Villains to use a type of toxin, the other three being Corroder, Meltdown, and Splitface.
